Answers about lace numbers, sizes, fabrics, payment, delivery, import charges and returns.
What do the lace numbers mean?
We use five laces and give each one a number: No.1 Fern, No.2 Scallop, No.3 Pin Dot, No.4 Picot and No.5 Daisy. Every piece uses one of them on one edge. Pieces with the same number use exactly the same lace, so they go together.
What are the laces made of?
No.1 Fern and No.2 Scallop are 100% polyamide (nylon), No.3 Pin Dot is 100% polyester, and No.4 Picot and No.5 Daisy are 100% cotton. Each product page also gives the width of the lace and the fabric of the garment. The label sewn into each piece is the final word on fibre content.
Which size should I order?
Tops, blouses and slips come in UK 6–18 (EU 34–46). Each product page lists the garment measurements for every size; our size guide explains how to measure yourself. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size for blouses and the smaller one for camis, whose straps adjust.
How far do the cami straps adjust?
Adjustable straps go from 26 cm at the shortest to 38 cm at the longest, measured from the front seam to the back seam. The Picot Tie-Shoulder Cami has ties you knot at the length you like.
How do the detachable collars stay on?
Each collar has two small press studs at the back. Put it over the neckline of a jumper, T-shirt or dress and close the studs at the back of your neck.
Which currencies can I pay in?
We show and charge prices in GBP, EUR, DKK, SEK, NOK, CHF, USD and CAD, depending on the delivery country you choose in the bar at the top of the page or at checkout.
Is paying on this site safe?
Yes. The whole site uses HTTPS. Card details are entered on our payment provider’s secure form and never reach or stay with us.
Do you charge import VAT or duties?
No, our prices do not include them. For deliveries outside the UK, your country may charge import VAT, customs duty or a carrier fee on delivery; these are paid by the recipient. See Shipping & delivery.
Can I return something?
Yes. You have 14 days after delivery to cancel without giving a reason, and then 14 days to send the piece back. See Returns & refunds, or cancel online at Withdraw from contract here.
Do you have discount codes or sales?
Not at the moment. Our prices are the same for everyone.
